Juniper Networks Inc and Cloudwatt (Orange Cloud for Business) jointly organized an SDN Workshop as part of the CloudWeek Paris. 75 people from Network Engineering and DevOps organizations attended the event.
Bruno Rossi, Sr. Manager Sales at Juniper Networks, provided his introductory perspective on advances in networking in recent times and introduced the subsequent speakers to kick off the proceedings.
Foucault de Bonneval, Product Owner, SDN at Cloudwatt (Orange Cloud for Business), explained how Cloudwatt is using OpenContrail in production and offering a sovereign French Infrastructure as a Service public cloud.
Aniket Daptari, Sr. Product Manager from Juniper Networks, was the Keynote Speaker for the event and he spoke about the OpenContrail project, its history and background, architecture of the solution, customer use-cases, and some of the important features of Contrail Networking and Contrail Cloud Platform products. He also performed a live demonstration of some of the features to supplement his explanation.
